What a busy month we have had!
Our kids and teens did a magnificent job at their mid-year performance. We're so proud of the effort they have put in. They're all super keen to get back into class and start planning the next performance night - some classes have even started telling us what they would like the next theme to be!
Infinity was offered a last minute infield tent at Ipswich Cup. It was great getting to hang out with the girls outside of the studio. We all had a blast!
To end the month we have been hit with another lockdown yet again. It seems like every time we are about to start a new term this happens! Hopefully the lockdown will lift tomorrow and our next term can begin on Monday 5th July.
Provided lockdown ends, we will be holding our mid-year performance night this Saturday, as soon as we have more news on this we will update everyone.
Thank you all for your support over past few busy weeks!
.This April Infinity performed for the first time outside of our studio. We were asked to be the closing act for Pole Expressions competition. The girls did an amazing job and the pole crowd fell in love with their twerking!
A huge thank you to our resident Twerk instructor Sam for putting together such a booty shaking routine and to Belinda, Kate and Gemma for choreographing the pole and floor routine that went alongside. A HUGE thank you to all the girls that put in the extra hours at the studio to perfect the routine - your time and effort paid off because you all smashed it! Check out the link to their performance below.
Can't wait to see what the Infinity Family does next!
Save the date! Our mid-year performance nights have been announced.
Our kids and teens will perform on the 12th of June. The kids chose to dedicate their performances to Disney - right down to picking their own Disney songs to perform to.
Our adult classes will perform on the 3rd of July. The theme is 'Anything Goes' so strap in for a night of amazing performances - you never know what you're going to get next!
We all had a blast at our 2020 performance night so make sure you keep an eye out for when tickets go on sale!
We had our first Introduction to Acrobatics class with out amazing instructor Miranda Walker (@that_circus_freak). This week started with handstands and partner work. Check out what they accomplished!
We had our very first movie night on the 5th of February. We gathered at our studio, with our furry friend, to watch the documentary Strip Down, Rise Up. As you can see, we made ourselves right at home, and pjs were mandatory. After a night of some bubbly and very bad food, we went home with full bellies and sleepy eyes. We look forward to our next movie night. Suggestions welcome!
We're very sad to announce that we will no longer be offering a burlesque course. However we would like to let you all know about our newest casual class that will be taking its place.
Choreo 101 will teach you different dance techniques. Each week you will learn and build on routines that encompass different styles of dance.
If you're feeling that tapping in your toes and the boogie in your soul - come along and give Choreo 101 a go!
Term two is drawing to a close with only two weeks left! What an amazing term it has been. We've loved meeting and getting to know all our new students. We're so happy that Infinity has truly become the family we hoped it would. Coming to classes each day is the highlight of our week.
The term three timetable has now been uploaded to the website be sure to check it out and sign up quick as spaces will fill up. Next term we have moved to Team Up instead of Polebuddy in an attempt to find a more user friendly service. Current Infinity members should recieve an email with how to create their new Team Up account. New members can sign up at
As always you can email or message us on the facebook page if you have any questions.
Welcome to term two!
Our first week back of term two is well underway and what a busy week it has been! It has been great meeting all the new students and catching up with the oldies.
Emily and I would also like to thank everyone that supported us during our Covid closure. Seeing everyone's enthusiasm to be back at the studio when we reopened meant the world to us.
The wheels are finally moving. We got the keys last week and have been able to start the makeover of our new studio. We have quite the journey ahead of us, but we're both ready and raring to go. We haven't been doing it alone though, we've had friends, family, and even the team at Opulence Property QLD.
We've already started started painting, one coat down, another one to go. But as you can see there were some causalities. Poor Adam ended up waiting two hours after he twinged his back. We hope to have another working bee soon and knock painting off our list.
